Why I Started Elle Lee Designs...
First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this personal passage about my company. This is also my first 2019 blog post and I am happy that you are here. I would like to connect with you in both my words and in person, so please feel welcome to reach out and contact me.
I started the first iteration of my company in 2010 because I had a passion for seeing people happy and enjoyed creating environments for lasting memories. I dove right into learning all that I could about how to create flawless, perfectly timed, well curated, fun, non-bridezilla/groomzilla weddings. I learned color theory so that I could I dream up any theme possible. I studied and followed so many wedding industry vets and insiders. I scooped up subscriptions to every major wedding publication (yes, print). Created bride accounts on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Involved myself in every wedding that Collette’s Catering would host (more about that on the website). I would online stalk venues, florist, bakeries, DJs, bridal shops, planners, photographers, officiants, caterers, jewelers, bands, videographers, décor companies and even wedding caricature artists. I would spend hours on Etsy, Amazon, and WeddingStar looking at décor, getting inspired and adding items to my shopping cart. I couldn’t stop consuming all things WEDDING. I was officially obsessed! I wanted Elle Lee Designs to be the best “one-stop” shop wedding company possible. But sometimes with BIG dreams and very little direction one can get a bit overwhelmed.
All while being obsessed, I still didn’t know where I quite fit in the wedding & event industry. I wanted to be a part of everything but had a true love of handling the fine details and timelines that could make or break a very well “thought out” day. I realized that my love of color theory and design could also be very helpful when it comes to planning four to five different colors and theming out every detail of a wedding. I truly knew I wanted to plan, design, and coordinate.
Coordination of a very detailed production is what I love to do. Working with vendors who also share that passion is the team that I love my clients to have involved in their wedding day. I understand that this is THE day. I have said in the past that we have one chance to get every picture and enjoy every moment. So, we as the team of vendors that you are trusting with executing one of the most important days of your life must do all that we can to see that vision through… and do it well!
With almost a decade of weddings under my belt I am excited to announce that I have brought all my talents and planner tools to Las Vegas! Elle Lee Designs now can plan, design, and coordinate weddings in Vegas, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and destinations around the world.
The second iteration of Elle Lee Designs is focused on delivering a personal level of service to all clients. You are unique, your story is unique, and your event is unique. Your proposal, engagement party, wedding, elopement, birthday, anniversary, or baby shower deserves a high attention detail. I am here to make this entire time in your life FUN and unforgettable! After all, we are planning celebrations together, and if we can have fun, why do it?
